- Cleaning up the office; reorganizing my desk. Downside of a glass-top desk: smudge-tastic! Upside: cool glowing effects from gadget lights. #
- Ran into a interesting quirk with Git and merging branches. Easily solved but the Git docs should be better about version-specific commands. #
- Damn I spent a lot of time in the code today! It’s been awhile. Knocked out a whole page of tasks; a page to go. Geekery continues tomorrow. #

- yeah, yeah it was an earthquake — been there, done that before.

- @gotwalt granted, not an everyday occurance around these parts. @tracibabe thought it was just a large truck barreling past at first.

- So if you’re west coast this is so “whatever;” in these parts, earthquakes are quite rare: http://tinyurl.com/8wtvo4

- @TRezendes Congrats on the successful procreation! yeah the inaccurate avatar is becoming a problem already. priorities dude!

- All is quiet about the office… too quiet. – http://bkite.com/03c2Q

- FedEx has a funny interpretation of what “next day delivery is.” Package shipped on the 22nd; latest update: Indiana @ 9 last night. Fail!

- Amazon.com “Talk By Phone” customer service is freaky fast to call you. On hold while they call FedEx. Run around in progress.

- @tnats I really don’t think the meaning is “hidden.”

- @lfaren Same boat here. FedEx with the big delivery fail. Next day != two days later. Now they think they can get it here by 5! Umm… no.

- @walterg2 How many are you trying to load? Consider grouping or other methods to better organize POI data, like this: http://cli.gs/qyU8uJ

- @icelander That explains SO much! (kidding) Closest story I have to that is that I once run over my brother with a riding lawn mower.

- @larrymyers Shazam is magic!

- a capuchin monkey throwing darts. our quest to get him into MapQuest marketing materials continues… – Photo: http://bkite.com/03cef

- A Festivus miracle? Leaving work I spotted the FedEx truck down the block at another office and chased her down. Package acquired!

- Presents ☑ Wrapped ☑. Off of work ’til next year (but working on projects at home) ☑. Spending Festivus Eve home w/ @tracibabe relaxing ☑
